I have been testing more natural mascaras to find one that would give me long-lasting results. I wanted something without parabens and other unnecessary chemicals. I came across the Natural Code line of Lumene (Finnish cosmetics) and picked the Eye Dramatizer. It has become my new favourite.
I was checking all the different brushes of the Natural Code line (six different mascaras), but mostly the brushes seemed too big or with silicone bristles. I prefer detailed work and chose the smallest brush.
As for the ingredients, the package says: Formulated without parabens.
Aqua, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Caprylyl Glycol, Tricontanyl Pvp, Plantago Major Seed Extract, Cetyl Dimethicone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Pentylene Glycol, Ethylhexyglycerine, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Glycerine, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Talc, Panthenol, Disodium Edta, Peg-8, Tocopherol, Acorbyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid.
Let’s have a look at the product itself. I has nice consistency and the application is easy, there is no irritating odour. The results for me have been pretty impressive. I have definitely got some lash-extending action. The effect is quite long-lasting, I had no smudging or flaking under my eyes after many hours and I even walked in slightly rainy weather without problems. The only light flaking I have got so far was after wearing it from 14 to 24 and accidentally touching the eyes.
I have been really surprised with this product and enjoyed using it because I don’t have to be checking constantly if I still look normal or if I’m ready for a Marilyn Manson video.
