My attitude towards food and cooking has changed dramatically over the last years. Despite my efforts to survive on canned beans with sausage and other suspicious meals during my studies, I have become a foodie and try to cook as much as I can. I also prefer edible gifts (giving and receiving), especially high quality organic olive oils, chocolate etc.:-)

I have become quite picky when it comes to shopping because I think that as consumers we can have an impact on our environment. I believe that demanding quality food in shops and restaurants matters, as well as being aware of the ingredients and their origin. It’s like voting every day.

Cooking is such a useful skill and I would like to encourage more people to prepare food from scratch. I have some super easy recipes here that you can try. Sharing a homemade meal with a loved one is one of the best things in life for me. It doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy, it can be just scrambled eggs made well:-)

Most recipes here are vegetarian and some are inspired by different cuisines. I am not the one to cut out certain food groups as I don’t have any allergies, but feel free to swap for gluten-free, lactose-free alternatives.

Beetroot heart, slice and juice
