I guess it is pretty natural to crave the most basic things when you live abroad. This is one of the things I sometimes miss in Finland. Everybody in the Czech Republic knows them. This is the closest bread to the one I like having back home in the Czech Republic made in regular oven. The most important piece of equipment here is a round or an oval-shaped oven dish which also has a lid (about 23cm in diameter).
This is my version of a pretty typical Czech dish. It's easy, tasty, nutritious and cheap. You don't need fresh spinach for this one, it actually works really well with frozen shredded spinach cubes. Continue reading
