Sunny drinks with turmeric

Turmeric can give a nice colour to your curries, but you can use it to boost your immune system during the cold months of winter. When you add black pepper to turmeric, you increase its absorption.

Banana coconut smoothie

Banana turmeric smoothie1 banana
2 dl coconut milk
1 tsp ground turmeric
pinch of black pepper
1 tsp honey

Blend everything together. Feel  free to tweak the sweetness to your liking.

Optional finish: purple corn powder and bee pollen

Turmeric latte

Turmeric latte2 dl coconut milk
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp honey
1 tsp ginger (freshly grated or powder)
pinch of black pepper
pinch of cinnamon

Warm up the coconut milk in a saucepan, whisk in the remaining ingredients and serve.
