I guess it is pretty natural to crave the most basic things when you live abroad. This is one of the things I sometimes miss in Finland. Everybody in the Czech Republic knows them. When they are freshly baked, they are delicious with just a bit of butter, or butter and honey. Kids like to put some chocolate spread on top.

This is the closest bread to the one I like having back home in the Czech Republic made in regular oven. The most important piece of equipment here is a round or an oval-shaped oven dish which also has a lid (about 23cm in diameter).
This is my new favourite recipe. The ingredients are easy to find and you don't even have to cook anything unless you want a more luxurious version. The inspiration came from Gwyneth Paltrow's webpage GOOP.
